The Island of Krk is in the Bay of Kvarner.It is the biggest island on adriatics,with an area of409 square kilometers. The relief is on the karst or limestone variety,with caves and caverns The coast is highly intended,with a great many bays, coves and naturally  beaches.The biggest of Bays are Soline and Puntarska draga.Climate:The island  boasts a pleasent and mild Mediterranen climate.The averige summer air temperature is 23© and the sea water temperature is 23-25© Plant life:In the central and western part of the island there are predominantly woods,along with cultivated Mediterrean fruit and vegitables,vineyards and olive groves.Northen and southern Krk are given over to stony areas and rough pasture land.
